🌺🕉गुरु पूर्णिमा जगत् गुरु माने जाने वाले वेद व्यास को समर्पित है। माना जाता है कि वेदव्यास का जन्म आषाढ़ मास की पूर्णिमा को हुआ था। वेदों के सार ब्रह्मसूत्र की रचना भी वेदव्यास ने आज ही के दिन की थी। वेद व्यास ने ही वेद ऋचाओं का संकलन कर वेदों को चार भागों में बांटा था। उन्होंने ही महाभारत, 18 पुराणों व 18 उप पुराणों की रचना की थी जिनमें भागवत पुराण जैसा अतुलनीय ग्रंथ भी शामिल है। ऐसे जगत् गुरु के जन्म दिवस पर गुरु पूर्णिमा मनाने की परंपरा है।🌺🕉

A commemorative postage stamp Issued on (24/July/1983) The Birth Bicentenary of Simon Bolivar (24/July/1783 - 17/December 1830) was a Venezuelan military and political leader who led what are currently the countries Venezuela , Bolivia , Colombia , Ecuador , Peru and Panama to Independence from the Spanish Empire / Simon Bolivar 6th.President of Peru (1824 - 27) 1st President of Gran Colombia (1819 - 30) President of third Republic of Venezuela (1817 -19) and Second Republic of Venezuela ( 1813 - 14)
"Simon Bolivar, son of rich and noble parents, was born in Caracas on 24th July, 1783. When he was just two and a half years old, he lost his father, Juan Vicente Bolivar. His education was en trusted to the best masters and tutors. The most influential of his teachers, however, was Simon Rodriguez, for it was he who awakened in the young Boliver intellectual and political curiosity, encouraging personal independence in the man who was later to free a whole continent. In his formative years, Bolivar travelled to Spain, France and other European countries where he pursued military studies, mathematics, languages, political philosophy and other subjects of a varied education. He was married in 1802 but his wife died the following year.
