A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional barcode) invented in 1994 by the Japanese automotive company Denso Wave.A barcode is a machine-readable optical label that contains information about the item to which it is attached. In practice, QR codes often contain data for a locator, identifier, or tracker that points to a website or application. A QR code uses four standardized encoding modes (numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary, and kanji) to store data efficiently; extensions may also be used.

The Crypto Stamp is the new way of collecting. The Crypto Stamp consists of a unique stamp, its own digital collecting object and the code to own the digital version. The digital version can be traded and saved in the provided environment. The physical stamp can be used for sending mail.

The digital version is stored within the Ethereum blockchain. This guarantees full traceability. In addition, the use of blockchain technology naturally means that you can continue to trade the Crypto Stamps.

A wallet stores the public and private “keys” or “addresses” which can be used to receive or send. With the private key, it is possible to write in the blockchain, effectively making a transaction.
